Wie die Cloud-ERP-Reise startete und welche Besonderheiten rechts und links des Weges auf das mittelständische Industrieunternehmen, das weltweit für seine langlebigen Mineralfarben bekannt ist, warteten: die Innovabee-Redaktion hat nachgefragt.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">KEIMFARBEN ist nicht nur der Experte und Marktführer für hochwertige und farbtonstarke Mineralfarben, sondern auch für mineralische Putze und Spachtelmassen, Holz , Naturstein- und Wärmedämmsysteme sowie Produkte zur Betoninstandsetzung und Kosmetik. Und dank SAP S/4HANA und RISE with SAP ist der Mittelständler mit Firmensitz im bayerischen Diedorf nun in der IT-Zukunft angekommen. Welche Aufgaben und Besonderheiten zu lösen waren, berichtet Holger Strichau, SAP-Projektleiter bei Innovabee:</p>

Das hat dazu geführt, dass wir für den Wechsel von On-Premise in die Cloud mehrere Conversion-Anläufe benötigten – der erste davon fand bereits 2023 statt. Letzten Endes hat sich der Weg aber mehr als gelohnt, denn KEIMFARBEN hat die Conversion sicher Schritt für Schritt vollzogen und wird in Zukunft davon profitieren.</q>

<p style="text-align: left;">Eine weitere Herausforderung war, dass die Cloud- und branchenerfahrenen Innovabee-Experten nicht nur die KEIMFARBEN-Hardware in die Cloud umgezogen haben, sondern dass auch der Wechsel nach RISE with SAP stattfand:</p>
