Dallmayr stand einer Cloud-Lösung von Anfang an offen gegenüber. Dennoch hat sich der Kaffeehersteller die Entscheidung nicht leicht gemacht und alle Argumente sorgfältig abgewogen. Dazu gehören Funktionen in der Kostenträgerrechnung und die Anbindung einer Speziallösung für den Einkauf von Rohkaffee, die weiterhin im Einsatz bleiben wird. Sie wird über eine Schnittstelle mit SAP S/4HANA gekoppelt. Weitere Systeme – sowohl interne als auch IT-Systeme von Partnern – gelten ebenfalls als strategisch und werden im Zuge der SAP-Einführung über die SAP Integration Suite angebunden, die Bestandteil der SAP Business Technology Platform ist. Ein Großteil der geforderten Funktionalitäten ist gleichwohl im SAP-Standard enthalten. „Die branchenspezifischen Prozesse von Innovafood und die Branchenexpertise von Innovabee im Lebensmittelumfeld haben letztlich auch den Ausschlag für die SAP S/4HANA-Branchenlösung und den Implementierungspartner gegeben“, so Dr. Johannes Dengler.</p>
