Dallmayr stand einer Cloud-Lösung von Anfang an offen gegenüber. Dennoch hat sich der Kaffeehersteller die Entscheidung nicht leicht gemacht und alle Argumente sorgfältig abgewogen. Nach einer ausführlichen strategischen Betrachtung hat sich das Unternehmen dann bewusst für eine ERP-Lösung aus der Cloud entschieden.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Wichtige Gründe waren die Auslagerung des Betriebs des ERP-Systems und die Nutzung vorhandener Standards. Und nachdem das SAP-Angebot „RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud“ inhaltlich und von den Gesamtkosten für eine Cloud-Lösung sprach, war die Entscheidung gefallen. „Das Gesamtpaket und die Konditionen, die SAP im Zuge von ‚RISE with SAP‘ bietet, haben uns überzeugt“, so Dengler. „Funktional hatten wir auch schon vorher zu einer Private-Cloud-Lösung tendiert. Denn ERP aus der Cloud bietet viele Vorteile, die kein Mittelständler ignorieren kann.“</p>

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Innovafood überzeugt durch Branchenfunktionalitäten</h2>
<p style="text-align: left;">Über die üblichen Anforderungen hinaus existieren bei Dallmayr Kaffee einige spezielle Anforderungen an das ERP-System. Dazu gehören Funktionen in der Kostenträgerrechnung und die Anbindung einer Speziallösung für den Einkauf von Rohkaffee, die weiterhin im Einsatz bleiben wird. Sie wird über eine Schnittstelle mit SAP S/4HANA gekoppelt. Weitere Systeme – sowohl interne als auch IT-Systeme von Partnern – gelten ebenfalls als strategisch und werden im Zuge der SAP-Einführung über die SAP Integration Suite angebunden, die Bestandteil der SAP Business Technology Platform ist. Ein Großteil der geforderten Funktionalitäten ist gleichwohl im SAP-Standard enthalten. „Die branchenspezifischen Prozesse von Innovafood und die Branchenexpertise von Innovabee im Lebensmittelumfeld haben letztlich auch den Ausschlag für die SAP S/4HANA-Branchenlösung und den Implementierungspartner gegeben“, so Dr. Johannes Dengler.</p>
